High Water is heading to the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2026, bringing our experience in temporary water control, engineered access and working around live water infrastructure to one of the biggest events in the global water sector.
Taking place in Glasgow from 4–8 October, this year’s Congress brings together water professionals from across the world under the theme Water action – the path to resilience and prosperity.
For us, that conversation starts at ground level.
Because while the water industry is talking about resilience, innovation and the future of infrastructure, there are still thousands of assets that need to be inspected, maintained, repaired and upgraded today.
And often, the water can’t simply be switched off.
The practical side of water infrastructure
A treatment channel needs to be isolated.
A structure needs inspecting below the waterline.
A watercourse needs to be diverted around a work area.
Maintenance needs to happen without disrupting the wider process.
These aren’t always straightforward engineering problems.
Water levels, flow rates, ground conditions, access, existing structures, environmental constraints and operational requirements can all affect what is possible.
The equipment is rarely the difficult part. Working out how to make it work on the site is.
That’s where High Water comes in.
Every site has a different solution
We provide temporary water-control equipment and engineered solutions for projects where water needs to be contained, isolated, diverted or worked around.
Our equipment includes Modular Limpet Dams, frame dam systems and Geodesign Barriers, alongside the pumping, fluming and storage equipment needed to manage flows.
But we don’t believe every project starts with a particular product. It starts with the problem.
Sometimes a temporary dam is the right answer.
Sometimes flow diversion is more appropriate.
Sometimes a combination of systems is required.
And sometimes, the best solution is not a dam at all.
Our role is to understand what the project needs to achieve and develop a practical way of getting there.
Where temporary works meet live infrastructure
This is particularly important when working around operational water and wastewater assets.
Creating an isolation boundary isn’t simply a case of keeping water out. The temporary works have to interact with the existing structure, the surrounding ground and, where applicable, the live process around it. That means considering the wider system as well as the immediate work area. It is why our approach combines equipment hire, engineering and specialist site capability.
Depending on the project, we can provide the equipment for others to deploy, provide engineering and technical support, or take a more integrated approach covering design, delivery, installation and removal.
